Plans to keep Ballarat moving
Vic Department of TransportPlans have today been released to bust congestion and increase safety at some of Ballarat’s most notorious traffic chokepoints.As part of a $60.8 million investment, five key projects have been identified to keep Ballarat moving.It comes as exploratory digging to locate essential underground services is set to begin on four of the projects over the coming months, before major work begins on the first of the sites in mid 2020.The city’s southern gateway is set for an overhaul, with the Midland Highway set to be expanded from two lanes to four between Queen and Docwra streets.
